Preston and Robin

We are Preston and Robin, and we appreciate you taking the time to read our story, and for your consideration. Adoption is a very natural step for us and something we have considered for years. Eleven years ago we met through a Christian dating service and were married just over a year later. In 2004, our daughter Emma was born. She is a great, well rounded child that cannot wait to be a big sister!

Emma is a loving and curious 6 year old who is always asking questions and wants to learn new things.
We live in a small town, but are close to a big city where we both work. A few years ago we built our house on acreage with large trees. It is exciting to know that our children will grow up in the same small town setting that we grew up in. Some of our favorite pastimes are riding around our neighborhood looking at animals, or just relaxing on our front porch.
Family is very important to us. Robin’s family lives nearby and includes fourteen nieces and nephews. Having Robin’s family living nearby, we are able to see them often. This provides a great opportunity for the cousins to play and get to know each other. Preston’s family lives three hours away, but we see them just as often. Emma has a three year old cousin who admires and looks up to her. Emma loves all her cousins, but especially loves staying at her Omi and Pop and Grandma and Grandpa’s houses. We are truly blessed to have wonderful and supportive families.
Preston works in the IT field. He is always eager to help, and is very caring and compassionate to others. Preston is a great dad and very patient with Emma. Robin has a career in the Energy Industry and works at home whenever she can. She is an unselfish person, and exceptional mother and wife. With her great determination, people often call upon her for assistance knowing she will make it happen. Our greatest joy is to spend time together as a family. Preston may be teaching Emma how to fly a kite, to vacuum, or how to get the most tickets at an arcade; or when Robin and Emma do crafts, swing in the front tree swing, or just relax on the couch. We love and cherish our time together as a family.
Music is very important in our house. Everyone enjoys it and its how we unwind and relax. We also enjoy traveling and have been to numerous states. Our most recent trip was a road trip to the Smoky Mountains. It was Emma’s first road trip and she loved it. Preston took most of the pictures and Robin turned them into a digital scrapbook (we make a great team)!
Early into our relationship we realized we had the same dreams. We wanted children, to live in the country, have successful careers, and travel. It has taken years of hard work, time, patience, and faith to achieve most of our dreams. Now we turn to you in hopes of fulfilling our dream of having children. We can only imagine what a difficult time it must be for you. Our prayer is that whatever decision you make brings you peace in knowing it is the correct choice for yourself and child. We would be honored and eternally grateful if you decide to choose our family.
